Operation Rainfall stole plenty of headlines in the gaming world, and Press Pause Radio was no exception with our Summer of Nintendo article last week. Just recently the head of The Last Story’s Mistwalker studios, Hironobu Sakaguchi, also expressed his feelings about Nintendo’s reluctance to release this game in the US.

“I’m so sad about US,” he said on his Facebook page, shortly after posting that The Last Story was, in fact, coming to Europe.

For those who doubted Operation Rainfall and their efforts, you can probably put your skepticism to rest. Though we have yet to hear an official announcement from Nintendo, they continue to gain the attention of other highly respectable figureheads and organizations within the industry. But due to reasons of privacy and protection, Operation Rainfall also stated they could not offer a direct link to the developer’s page.

Hironobu Sakaguchi is a well renowned industry figure, who’s also responsible for the creation of the Final Fantasy series. The company he founded, Mistwalker Studios, is also behind the game Lost Oddysey.
