PPR Presents LimeLight: Metal Gear Solid V: Ground Zeroes

here’s a whole lot of buzz on the web on whether or not Metal Gear Solid V: Ground Zeroes is just a glorified demo; after much deliberation (not a whole lot) we decided that instead of reviewing Ground Zeroes, We’ll cover it a different way—stream the shit out of it for Limelight.

QCF: Metal Gear Rising: Revengeance

he Sons of the Patriots, a network hive mind that controlled the nanomachines of every soldier active in any PMC established through manipulation and subterfuge, disappeared four years ago, and yet PMCs live on. What was once the age of nanomachines has now been advanced into a whole new realm of technology -- Cyber-biotic integration through cyborg application -- and ushered into a new age of peace, PMCs are now a means of private security for preventative measures. Raiden, a man who endorses these ideals of preventative maintenance through aggressive means of security, is currently tasked with his latest mission protecting African Prime Minister N'Mani as he rallies his efforts to prevent civil war and continue the peace. But of course, things don't always go as planned.

PAX Prime 2012: Metal Gear Rising: Revengeance hands-on preview

It’s been several years since players have been able to control the angsty field operative code named Raiden, but with him coming out of his shell (quite literally so to speak) into the role of private cyborg ninja for hire, we’ll be able to finally play as the hardened super killer, courtesy of Platinum Games and Kojima Productions. Aside from all of the hype and fanboy love affairs, I was able to get a hands-on take with the preview build and find out just how grounded my expectations really were.

The importance of Scope

There’s certainly nothing wrong with bigger games and wider scopes. The dirty little problem this tends to create is a lack of focus. Spoiler alert incoming! Do not read any further if you want to retain the surprises that await you in Batman: Arkham City.
