QCF: The Witcher 2: Assassin of Kings Enhanced Edition

I’ve never really had a super powerful computer, so when The Witcher 2 hit PCs late last year and started gathering a hefty following, I was unfortunately unable to play it. With this release, CD Projekt Red made some concessions in order to bring this epic rpg to consoles, so people who don’t own a $1,000 pc can get a chance to guide the mighty Geralt of Rivia through his adventures in the north. But could they bring this graphical powerhouse down to what is essentially six year old hardware and make it work?

Quarter Circle Forward Review: Ms. Splosion Man

In the beginning there was man, or woman I’m not really sure…The point I’m trying to make is that within the homo sapien race exist two genders, and Twisted Pixel has given it’s exploding hero a counter-part of the fairer sex to star in very own video game. Ms. Splosion Man may take its inspiration from the concept of Ms. Pac-man but I can assure you this is not 'Splosion Man with a bow-tie and I’ll start off by explaining why.

Quarter Circle Forward Review: Dungeon Siege 3

 “ALL THE SPIDERS!!!!”

Dungeon Siege has been a staple series on the PC for more than a decade. Although some would consider this series a “poor man’s Diablo”, the series -- for the most part -- has been a solid loot whoring experience with gratifying combat and hours of goodness packed into each installment. The series was always a dependable way to scratch that loot whoring itch between Diablo releases. The third entry keeps the streak going but falls short of greatness.

QCF: Duke Nukem Forever

Excuse me, I’m sorry for the awkward introductory sentence but I just can’t get over the twisted irony of this review being as late as it is and this twisted fucking paradox just keeps getting funnier and funnier as I think about it. Alright well are we both done chuckling? Good.

Quarter Circle Forward PAX East 2011 Edition: Swarm

There is a certain charm behind the age old phrase of "no pain, no gain". Enter the epidemic that is Swarm. A score chaser down to its very core, Swarm doesn't pull any punches it what can simply be compared to a Modern day Pac-man like experience with some Chinese water torture thrown in for good measure.
